  1. Is it possible to predict the number of years before being re-convicted for a violent offence from the offender’s age on leaving prison, whether the offender is on any treatment programme, whether or not the offender was on any educational programme, number of times in prison prior to current offence, and total amount of time spent in prison prior to current sentence?

  2. Does it matter in this case whether enter or stepwise regression methods are used? – e.g. is the stepwise analysis clearer?
